I am a true gamer

Tonight ends my Arizona adventure. As I look back, I'd say it's been a great trip. Nay, even a fantastic one, but I'm still happy to see those people I've been missing in Utah.

I leave 7 hours from now. I will probably go to sleep in two or three. My problem the big night before trips is the sleeping part, because I want to get everything done now. This is probably because I have never in my life gone on a trip and not forgotten something. Phone charger, toothbrush, a right navy blue slip on Vans, etc. Perhaps the reason I forget things is because I'm doing them at 3 in the morning, but that's a which came first, the chicken or the 12-piece bucket of KFC chicken debate and now is not the time for semantics.

I'm looking forward to this trip. True, the Mad Libs will be milder, there will be no detour in Vegas (which means no seeing any hookers) and perhaps no delay at Hoover Dam. (The delay might sound like that would be a good thing to miss, but it led to lots of dancing and using the word "dam" as many times as possible without really using it - dam sign, dam bridge, dam cars).

It also hopefully means more sleep, because last time I got a mind numbing 3 hours of sleep, and then drove 12 hours without caffeine or illicit substances. I'm actually pretty proud of it.

So farewell Arizona. We shalt meet again, as old friends always do at some distant point in time. And when we meet, we will fall upon each others necks and weep tears of sadness for our lost time, tears of joy for meeting again, and tears of embarrassment for being such crybabies.
